There’s loads of things I *could* write about, and none of them are things I really want the whole world to know about. The only thing anyone would be interested in maybe is listening to me yell about how “Obama is ruining the United States”, “This nation is now socialist” blah blah blah.

I haven’t heard anything back yet from NMSU, ITT Tech, or the community college about the status of my transcripts; I’m hoping then sent them. Even though I will complain every day about school and how I hate it … well, I do. School blows, learning rocks the world and I love it.

Um, that’s about all really. Work is work, they haven’t fired me or shot me so it can’t be all that bad and I rather love doing what I do.

Oh! I bought three books from amazon.com the other day. “Virtue of Selfishness”, “We the Living”, and “Nausea”. The last book I read “Music, the Brain and Extacy” was really really fantastic but holy crap it was one of the driest books I’ve ever read. If you’re going into a career of music / sound you really should read it, there’s loads of information and it’s really useful.

Guess that’s about all, I need some percocet before my pizza gets here so I can actually eat it.

After becoming very frustrated with the attitude of one of the
shopkeepers, the young blonde declared, ‘Well, then, maybe
I’ll just go out and catch my own alligator and get a pair of
alligator shoes for free!’

The shopkeeper replied with a sly smile, ‘Well, little lady,
why don’t you go on and give it a try?’

The blonde headed off to the swamp, determined to catch an alligator.

Later in the day, as the shopkeeper was driving home, he spotted
the same young woman standing waist deep in the murky water,
shotgun in hand.

As he brought his car to a stop, he saw a huge 9-foot gator
swimming rapidly toward her.

With lightning reflexes, the blonde took aim, shot the creature and
hauled it up onto the slippery bank. Nearby were 7 more dead
gators all lying belly up. The shopkeeper stood on the bank,
watching in silent amazement as the blonde struggled mightily
and barely managed to flip the gator onto its back.

Then, rolling her eyes heavenward, she screamed in frustration…..

‘CRAP! THIS ONE’S BAREFOOT, TOO!

Found this online today; it was awesome, and pretty accurate so figured I would post it here for everyone to look at and hopefully understand.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten
comes to $100.

If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like
this.

The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.

So, that’s what they decided to do.

The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the
arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve.

“Since you are all such good customers,” he said, “I’m going to reduce the
cost of your daily beer by $20.” Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.

The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes.

So the first four men were unaffected.

They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men? The
paying customers?

How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his fair
share?’

They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But if they subtracted that
from everybody’s share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end
up being paid to drink his beer.

So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man’s bill
by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each
should pay.

And so the fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings)
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33% savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28% savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 (25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).

Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to
drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare
their savings.

“I only got a dollar out of the $20,”declared the sixth man.

He pointed to the tenth man,” but he got $10!”

“Yeah, that’s right,” exclaimed the fifth man. “I only saved a Dollar, too.
It’s unfair that he got ten times more than I!”

“That’s true!!” shouted the seventh man. “Why should he get $10 back when I
got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!”

“Wait a minute,” yelled the first four men in unison. “We didn’t get
anything at all. The system exploits the poor!”

The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.

The next night the tenth man didn’t show up for drinks, so the nine sat down
and had beers without him. But when it came time to pay the bill, they
discovered something important. They didn’t have enough money between all of
them for even half of the bill!

And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, this is how
our tax system works.

The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax
reduction.

Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show
up anymore.

In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat
friendlier.

For those who understand, no explanation is needed.

For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible

If this is nothing
If this is everything there is, inside this moment
I would not as for more than this
To dream by what i see through
to make believe i need you
and if tomorrow comes too soon
we will not speak of it today

chorus:
somewhere stars are falling
so close your eyes and make a wish
and when time forgets us
i will sill remember
this

if there is someplace
if there is anyplace to go, beyond perfection
i can’t pretend i want to know
how we could leave ourselves behind
how it could feel to say goodbye
when it’s enough to be here now
to sit with you and watch the sky

(chorus)

to dream by what i see though
to make believe i need you
and if tomorrow comes too soon
we will not speak of it today

(chorus)

It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by new law to surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by their own government, a program costing Australia taxpayers more than $500 million dollars. The first year results are now in:

Australia-wide, homicides are up 3.2 percent
Australia-wide, assaults are up 8.6 percent
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent
(yes, 44 percent)!

Note: Admiral Yamamoto, who crafted the attack on Pearl Harbor, had attended Harvard from 1919-1921 & was Naval Attache to the U.S. from 1925-1928. Most of our Navy was destroyed at Pearl Harbor & our Army had been deprived of funding & was ill prepared to defend the country.

It was reported that when asked why Japan did not follow up the Pearl Harbor attack with an invasion of the U.S. Mainland, his reply was that he had lived in the U. S. & knew that almost all households had guns.
