In socialist Sweden a bucket misses you.

Seriously, redistribution of the wealth isn’t patriotic; I don’t think you could fit more bullshit into a sentence. You know what it really is, not patriotic, it’s theft. I worked my ass off and I got a lot of money so guess what…IT IS MINE; just because someone else didn’t work their ass off too doesn’t mean you can take my money and give it to them. Is this the land where people give everything that they are able and recieve in return what they need? NO.This is the United States where I work and I make myself a ton of money, then I spend it on what I want to. Karl Marx tried the whole giving according to your ability and recieving what you need thing; it didn’t work. Come to the present Mr. Obama, it’s not the 1800′s anymore it’s 2008.

Joe Biden for Vice President…ELECT OBAMA!

The only word I can use to describe that isn’t even a word, it’s “LMAO”; I can’t imagine him as vice president, and if the socialist wealth-redistributing Obama dies, do we really want him as our president?

I’ve been a little slack in posting this, partly because I’m not quite sure what to write and partly because I feel what I do write won’t be adequate. One of my favorite teachers, Mr. De La Rosa passed away on last Monday morning, the 13th. He was my instructor for nearly every class involving Microsoft Windows and I really learned a lot from him. A great teacher who always took the time to make sure you understood what he was talking about and enjoyed learning in his classrooms; I will never forget to be wary of the hackers, crackers and cyber-punks. You will be greatly missed Mr. D. and I hope that you find comfort in the afterlife knowing that you had a huge impact on my life and many many others.

I actually managed to finish reading “Age and Guile” and picked up my perl book. After reading the first couple of chapters (yea, I skimped on homework so I could read) I really enjoy the book and look forward to the rest of it. It’s a lot easier to read with a unix/linux machine infront of me since I can test out the examples and try the exercises at the end of the chapters. Look for a review in a month or so when I finish reading the book…assuming the classwork doesn’t stack up too much and I can slack a little. :)

Database development is a class that I was hoping would be really cool and actually helpful for things that I’m doing…it’s not. I’m still not quite sure what the teacher is teaching, he doesn’t seem to know either. After four weeks our quiz was mostly about things you need to consider when designing a database; which is important, don’t get me wrong, but I really don’t think it should take four weeks to teach. One of the questions was even “how many rows are in the table in the picture”, I can remember doing questions like that in…what was it..3rd grade? Couting rows is fun. ^.^
