Between studying for finals, getting everything set up for Digital Storm LAN, keeping my parents happy and spending time with Ana…I think free time is something that doesn’t exist for me anymore.
Yesterday (Monday) I somehow managed to get 100% on both of my math quizes…one of which replaced a 30% I had on another. While the final isn’t until March 3rd, pretty sure I’m going to do well. Windows desktop operating systems, I could probably not show up for and still end up with a ‘B’ in the class…it a wonderful class but most of the stuff in it I have already learned in the past. The structured cabling final on Thursday should be fun, that class is hit and miss as to weather I’ll do well or not, but recently things have been going well in there. Then there’s Composition I…if I end up with a ‘D-’ in that class, I think I might end up taking my parents out to dinner or something. lol. Writing classes and I don’t mix very well; so I don’t try very hard and end up not doing well. Oh well, it was fun and very informational.
Digital Storm LAN (DSL) should be a blast this year. It is being held at the Croatian Cultural Centre in Vancouver, BC, Canada from August 1st to 3rd. Getting everything set up for DSL has been a decent bit of work and I’m really hoping I can somehow make my way up to Canada this year to attend. For now however, the poor, starving college student named Jim…seems to have a lack of money to find his way across the country and up to Canada.
Oh! good news, of sorts :p nah, it really is good news. My sister’s wedding (heh, so I haven’t mentioned I had a sister or she was engaged…oops >.>) is planned for June and I’ll be happily headed back to Colorado to go. I’m really quite happy for her, she’s found herself a great guy who loves her and she loves him; they’re going to make a great couple.
Suppose I should go finish studying so I can pass school and get myself out into the real world and spend time with a very special someone
Hope you have as much fun reading as I did writing :p
